I am a stone sculptor of 20 years. Carving sculpture in just about every stone available to me. I work out of my own studio in Seattle, Washington where I offer carving lessons on a private basis. I teach occassionally at outside facilities to a wide variety of clients. These facilities include Community Colleges, Woodcarving Center of Puget Sound, Woodcraft as well as The Seattle Parks Department.
I am a long time member of NWSSA (North West Stone Sculptors Association) and have taught at several Camp Brotherhood Seminars making many friends along my way.
I was formally trained at SPU (Seattle Pacific University) and graduated with a Honors BA in Fine Arts, attended 6 sessions of Marble/Marble Symposiums in Marble, Colorado. I participated in the Indiana Limestone Symposium, and I have been educated at the Camp Brotherhood Symposiums for over 15 years.
Most of my forms are abstract, geometric, human form or wildlife. I am drawn mostly to natural forms which are organic.
My stone sculptures have been featured in multiple cities acrossed the greaterm northwest and have recently branched into the Canadian market featuring pieces in a small gallery in Toronto. I have shown many large sculptures in a wide range of cities on the west coast states of the U.S.A.
I am happily married for over 30 years with three grown children and one beautiful grandaughter.
